The World Health Organization on Acupuncture

The use of acupuncture has been shown to effectively manage many types of conditions. In 2003 the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) released a report that shows acupuncture is an effective tool to manage many types of conditions and diseases. Please note that there are plenty of additional conditions which centuries of empirical data have shown acupuncture manages effectively but for which there is little or no modern western research.
